No Politics and No Religion

What topics do you like to discuss?

I tend to stick to this. I have my own set of opinions and beliefs. Nothing you say will change them and I would never try to change yours.  I do, however, have several topics I enjoy talking about.

 

Anything Horror – You would never know to look at me but I have a spooky side and a love for all things bloody and scary. I can sit and discuss Horror movies for hours! Especially the Saw and Conjuring Collections. Saw 1-5 are solid then it went downhill. I do have to say the reboot of prequels has been decent so far and I look forward to the next installment this October. As far as the Conjuring Universe, skip the Annabelle’s.

I also have an affinity for Haunted Houses, both truly haunted and theatric. You can find me most weekends each Autumn touring haunted attractions all over the east coast. Before you ask, my favorite id Reaper’s Revenge in Scranton, Pa.  There are several others worth mentioning but I do not have the time here. Perhaps I will do an intensive one week on my regular blog.

 

Escape Rooms – This is an addiction. I have visited over 40 rooms across 5 states and am always looking for more. To be honest I owe this obsession to my love of the Saw movies. The more intricate the puzzles the better! Secret rooms? Yes! Surprise drop downs and secret panels? Please! I am always looking to try new themes. I am guessing this too will need to be a week’s blog post as well someday.

 

My Art – Writing is only part of my creative side. My true passion is my painting. I love to paint ceramics, dry brushing and glazing and my specialty is Trees. Yes, those old-fashioned Christmas Trees your Grandma had. I make them new, from vintage molds and do variety of sizes and colors. Trees are no longer just for Christmas.  I have Spring and Easter trees, year-round trees and Halloween creations. My final topic is by far my favorite!

My Babies – Whether it be my children, my stepchildren or my grandchildren. My favorite topic is always them!. I love to brag on their accomplishments, talk about their interests and play proud mama in general. If you want to see the cutest baby boys in the world, just ask because my grandbabies are the sweetest and most loveable. My phone is stocked with pictures of all my babies and I will be happy to share anytime!
